Net Zero Data Center Alliance

Gas-Powered Net Zero Data Centers

Bio-farms enable gas-powered generators to deliver clean electricity to data centers. These renewable energy data centers now emerge as vital alternatives to solar and wind power, which are facing tariffs and supply chain challenges.

The Net Zero Data Center Alliance brings together in a unified effort to revolutionize data center sustainability:

CO2 from the generator’s emissions is bubbled into the algae tanks in a bio-farm along with CO2 from the air. The algae digest the CO2 to produce very profitable, high-value products. A 500-acre bio-farm digests 1.3 million tons of CO2 yearly, 3 times the CO2 from the adjacent 1GW gas-powered generators of clean electricity. Bio-farms can enable gas-powered hyperscale Net Zero Data Centers.

The wide range of very high-value products makes bio-farms very profitable with an IRR of 58%. This is 7x more profitable than solar and 11x more profitable than wind. Nearly all of the equipment to build a $ 400M bio-farm can be sourced in the USA, so it is unaffected by tariffs and the associated supply chain disruption. There is a short video on investing in INNOVO Profitable Net Zero bio-farms adjacent to gas-powered Net Zero Data Centers.

INNOVO, ARCO Design/Build, and ESS are planning to build a number of gas-powered Net Zero Data Centers with bio-farms near Corpus Christi in Texas.
